The Solutions Architect is responsible for leading various architectural and engineering activities within the financial services domain. This role involves analyzing functional requirements, designing solutions, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders. The individual will work with a high-performing team to design enterprise-wide solutions that address critical business needs. Key responsibilities include evaluating architecture solutions and ensuring integration aligns with business goals.

• 6+ years of relevant experience in an Engineering role
• Experience working in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment
• Project Management experience
• End to End Process Mapping and Design
• Comprehensive knowledge of design metrics, analytics tools, benchmarking activities and related reporting
• Demonstrated analytic/diagnostic skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of various parts of a project or initiative
• Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Proven track record of operational process changes and improvement
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Develop solution design options for enterprise-wide initiatives and evaluate the art of the possible.
• Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
• Evaluate and test potential architecture solution designs to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ensure that all integration of functions fulfill business goals.
• Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
• Identify problem causality, business impact, and root causes.
• Exhibit knowledge of how own specialty area contributes to the business.
• Advise or mentor junior team members.
• Impact the solution design by influencing decisions through advice and counsel.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.
