Citi is looking for a highly motivated engineer to join the Fixed Income Trading Services team as a Lead Front-End Developer. This role is situated on the trading floor, allowing for direct collaboration with traders and product development teams. The primary focus is on designing and delivering high-performance front-end solutions that support Credit Portfolio Trading and Systematic Trading. The position requires balancing strategic platform builds with immediate tactical needs in a fast-paced trading environment.

• 6–10 years of experience in application development or systems analysis, including 5+ years of Front-End/UI development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, React, and/or Angular.
• 3–5 years of experience building large-scale, distributed applications using Python or Java.
• Experience building trading, pricing, or real-time analytics applications in low-latency, high-throughput environments.
• Prior experience supporting Credit markets or other secondary trading businesses.

• Act as a front-end technology lead embedded with Credit Portfolio Trading and Systematic Trading desks.
• Partner closely with traders, quants, and product stakeholders to translate evolving business needs into scalable UI solutions.
• Lead system analysis and front-end development for complex, high-impact initiatives.
• Design, build, and evolve real-time, data-intensive front-end trading and analytics applications.
• Establish, document, and enforce standards for front-end coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing support.
