The Software Engineer role is focused on developing and enhancing the proprietary Margin Calculations and Reporting Platform within Citi's Prime Finance Services organization. This position requires a highly skilled individual to contribute to a sophisticated margin calculation engine that impacts financial operations. The role emphasizes delivering end-to-end software solutions while ensuring scalability, performance, and robustness. The engineer will work in a collaborative environment, engaging with global teams to solve complex technical challenges.

• 4-6 years of experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java application technologies, including TDD, Spring framework, and Microservices architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with distributed caches like Apache Gemfire is a plus.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in SQL and Linux environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable application systems for Margin Calculation Services.
• Consult with users and clients on issues, recommending programming solutions.
• Monitor and guide all phases of the software development lifecycle to ensure timely project delivery.
• Utilize expertise in application development to recommend security measures and contribute to post-implementation analysis.
• Partner with project managers and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proactively assess and manage technical risks, ensuring regulatory compliance.
