The Software Engineer role is focused on developing and enhancing the proprietary Margin Calculations and Reporting Platform within Citi's Prime Finance Services organization. • 6-10 years of experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java application technologies, including TDD, Spring framework, and Microservices architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Experience with distributed caches like Apache Gemfire is a plus.
• Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in RESTful API development and integration.
• Solid understanding and experience with SQL.
• Proficiency in Linux environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable application systems for Margin Calculation Services.
• Partner with project managers and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead the resolution of high-impact problems through evaluation of business processes and system architectures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in application programming and enforce coding standards.
• Act as a mentor for mid-level developers and analysts, fostering skill development.
• Proactively assess and manage technical risks while ensuring regulatory compliance.
