The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Software Engineering is a senior role that combines deep technical knowledge with hands-on expertise in building software at scale. This position focuses on cloud-native architecture, data engineering best practices, and modern UI development using React, while also driving the adoption of Generative AI for business use cases. The AVP will work on large-scale engineering initiatives and contribute to solution design and development alongside top engineering talent. This role requires a strong understanding of the SAFe Agile operating model and aims to enhance software development processes through innovative technologies.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with hands-on experience.
• Proven experience implementing business use cases in Generative AI technologies.
• Proven experience in cloud-native architecture and public cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Deep experience in data engineering, including pipelines, data storage, and big data technologies.
• Clear understanding of the SAFe Agile framework and enterprise-scale agile delivery.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, container orchestration, and observability tools.
• Experience in large-scale financial services enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills.

• Contribute to the architecture of scalable, high-performing systems using cloud-native architecture.
• Contribute to Generative AI adoption across product lines, leveraging Python and LLMs.
• Contribute to foundational frameworks across middleware and UI to accelerate development.
• Contribute to data engineering efforts, including data modeling and data pipelines.
• Adopt AI-driven automation to accelerate the software development lifecycle.
• Actively contribute to product requirements analysis and solution architecture.
• Work on proof-of-concepts and design and development of critical components.
• Implement foundational components across Java, Python, and React for enterprise applications.
• Champion AI-based code generation tools to automate repetitive engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
