The AVP Data Analyst role at Citi is focused on supporting Enterprise Risk Management data initiatives through detailed system and data analysis. This position is integral to ensuring compliance with data governance policies and standards while contributing to the design and maintenance of data layers. The role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to address data quality challenges and support project management efforts. The ideal candidate will work closely with technology teams and business data owners to enhance data solutions and reporting.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, business analysis, or systems analysis.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with project management tools, specifically JIRA.
• Solid foundational understanding of data layer design principles and database concepts.
• Working experience with Agentic AI or LLM preferred.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is required.
• Proficiency in data analysis and management tools, including Oracle and PL-SQL.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data flowcharting tools.
• Bachelor's degree required in a quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.

• Conduct in-depth system and data analysis to support Enterprise Risk Management data initiatives.
• Gather and document comprehensive business requirements and functional requirements for data-centric projects.
• Actively manage and update project artifacts, tasks, issues, and action items within JIRA.
• Contribute to the design, documentation, and maintenance of logical and physical data layers.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot data quality gaps and issues.
• Review and validate business requirements and supporting documentation for downstream risk reporting.
• Use Citi AI tools to develop data analytical solutions.
• Support the creation and maintenance of detailed data flow diagrams and process maps.
• Prepare and contribute to presentations and status updates for internal stakeholders.
• Participate in data governance forums and support the implementation of reporting and tooling.
