The Fixed Income Rates production support group at Citi provides essential support to various trading desks focused on Rates. The role involves managing core Rates applications and addressing user issues while collaborating with Trading, Sales, Operations, and Risk teams. The successful candidate will drive engineering initiatives to improve workflows and automate processes. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and financial product knowledge, particularly in Fixed Income/Rates.

• 3+ years of proven experience providing technical support directly to Front Office within a financial institution.
• Hands-on experience with financial products, with a strong preference for Fixed Income/Rates.
• Demonstrated hands-on technical experience in a Linux environment, including system administration and bash scripting.
• Knowledge of incident management procedures, including identification, triage, escalation, communication, troubleshooting, resolution, and post-incident review.
• 6-10 years' experience in a relevant field.
• Understanding of Bonds, Swaps, Repo, trading, risk, and pricing.
• Proficiency in Python, Grafana, Linux, SQL, and KDB.
• Good understanding of incident management tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA.
• Practical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building skills.
• Service-oriented attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects.

• Provide direct support to Front Office trading desks focused on Rates.
• Manage production of core Rates applications and resolve user issues.
• Drive engineering initiatives to improve process workflows and eliminate toil through automation.
• Collaborate closely with partners in Trading, Sales, Operations, and Risk teams.
• Ensure stable platform operations to enhance client service.
