The Wholesale Credit Risk Technology team is focused on driving digital transformation through automation and modernization of operations. They are seeking an experienced Java Middleware Developer to join their global team and contribute to ongoing digital initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Java/J2EE and will play a key role in developing scalable middleware services. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in an Application Development or Systems Analysis role.
• Expert-level, hands-on knowledge of Java/J2EE, the Spring Framework Stack, and Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of microservice principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with MongoDB.
• Proficiency with GitHub and project management tools like JIRA.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong foundation in systems analysis, design, and architecture.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.

• Collaborate with a global team to analyze requirements and develop scalable middleware services.
• Take responsibility for the successful delivery of assigned tasks and components within a larger solution.
• Analyze existing application systems to identify areas of complexity and performance bottlenecks.
