The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. The role involves contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities. The analyst will work on feasibility studies, risk technology, and application development to meet specific business needs. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and the ability to provide user support and operational guidance.

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining applications using Java or fullstack technologies, with Python being acceptable
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and designing microservices with Spring Boot
• Experience building and executing CI/CD pipelines for automated integration, testing, and deployment
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage.
• Consult with users and other technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
