The Python and PySpark Developer is an intermediate level position focused on the establishment and implementation of application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. This role involves analyzing complex problems, providing evaluations of business processes, and recommending programming solutions. The developer will also monitor the development process and provide user support. The position requires independence and the ability to act as a subject matter expert for senior stakeholders.

• 5 years of Python Development experience is required.
• 1 year of experience in PySpark Development is required.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in Big Data technologies.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis.
• Consult with users and other technology groups on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
