The role is for a highly motivated engineer to join the Ads Supply Engineering team at Netflix, focusing on expanding the advertising platform. The team develops systems and integrations to enhance ad monetization while respecting user privacy. Candidates should have extensive experience in ad serving and programmatic integrations. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with 4+ years in the Ads domain.
- Broad knowledge of ad tech and the advertising landscape, including programmatic and digital marketing trends.
- Strong experience building first-party adtech software such as AdServer, SSP, and DSP.
- Experience integrating with third-party partners and understanding the technical and strategic value of these integrations.
- Familiarity with real-time bidding, auction dynamics, and inventory share rules.
- Experience in building first-party tools, APIs, and services that leverage data and real-time insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop systems and integrations to help Netflix expand its advertising platform.
- Increase the supply of content and users available for ad monetization.
- Provide a seamless ad experience while maximizing revenue.
- Collaborate with ad operations to facilitate campaign setup, measurement, targeting, and reporting.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and work with partner engineering teams.
- Ensure brand safety for advertisers during ad serving.
