Job description

The role is focused on leading the Trust Services and Enforcement team within Netflix's Trust & Safety organization. This team is dedicated to safeguarding member trust and protecting against fraud and abuse through technical solutions and cross-functional partnerships. The primary focus is on developing scalable fraud mitigation services and applying GenAI to enhance detection capabilities. The position requires strong technical leadership and the ability to navigate complex security risks.

Requirements

  • A strong background in leading technical efforts against Netflix-related security risks, including Account Fraud and DDoS attacks.
  • Proven experience managing highly cross-functional projects and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Direct experience working on consumer-facing products with an understanding of security measures and user experience trade-offs.
  • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of scalable fraud mitigation services.
  • Strategically balance immediate attack mitigations with long-term development strategies.
  • Define and advocate for appropriate risk tolerance levels across the organization.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on optimal security risk posture within product verticals.
  • Build strong relationships with other leaders to ensure the team remains a trusted partner.
