Job description

This role is part of Netflix's Ads Member Experience group, which focuses on defining and building innovative ad formats for the streaming platform. The team aims to enhance the advertising experience for both users and advertisers while ensuring brand safety. As a new team, they are tasked with creating high-performance advertising systems that will help Netflix become a leader in the Connected TV advertising space. The role requires engineers who are passionate about the advertising domain and eager to contribute to the company's strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years of experience in the Ads domain.
  • Professional experience with ad formats and ad delivery systems, including experimentation with ad creatives and/or native ads.
  • Experience with architecting and building large-scale infrastructure for real-time, low-latency, online advertising environments.
  • Thorough understanding of the advertising marketplace and landscape, focusing on publisher side challenges.
  • Proven track record of building systems that power sophisticated user experimentation, A/B testing and lift studies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with demonstrated product sense and leadership in the working environment.
  • Expertise in developing systems that measure and optimize end-user advertising experiences.
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and delivering complex features with critical business impact.
