Job description
The Director of Engineering for Employer Digital will lead the Digital Platforms Employer Technology team within Workplace Investing. This role focuses on shaping the strategy and technical direction to enhance the Plan Sponsor experience through innovative digital capabilities. The team is dedicated to delivering high-quality digital applications and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The position requires collaboration with product leadership and engineering teams to ensure the delivery of modern solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience leading fast-paced technology teams with a focus on Full-Stack/Front-End development.
- Strong experience in managing people and cross-functional development teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with Full-Stack/Front-end tools such as Angular, Java, and Rest.
- Experience working in an Agile software development framework.
- Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Lead a Full Stack Engineering development team, including hiring and mentoring.
- Collaborate with product owners to plan releases and prioritize development activities.
- Champion and drive development standards to improve quality and efficiency.
- Provide strategic input into long-term direction and roadmaps with technology and business partners.
- Ensure the delivery of scalable, resilient, and modern solutions that meet business requirements.
