Job description

The ML lead for Sales productivity and automation at Netflix will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of the ad sales process through AI and machine learning. This position involves collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Sales stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration. The focus is on transforming how the ad sales business operates, enabling sellers to work smarter and close more deals. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to drive impactful solutions.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience in independently scoping and leading end-to-end ML projects in production environments.
  • Strong strategic acumen to translate business objectives into a prioritized technical roadmap.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for building ML pipelines and models.

Responsibilities

  • Define the AI/ML investment roadmap for the Sales pod in partnership with product and engineering.
  • Design, build, and deploy production ML models, AI agents, and automation systems end-to-end.
  • Partner with Analytics Engineers to build metrics, measurement pipelines, and reporting.
  • Iterate on launched products based on performance data and seller feedback.
  • Serve as a senior technical voice in cross-functional discussions.
