·FY 2025Job description
The role is for a technical product manager in the Security Services Engineering organization at Netflix, focusing on identity and access management (IAM) for the Ads business. The team is dedicated to creating and operating authentication, authorization, and cryptographic software services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management and will work closely with engineering teams to align priorities and solve complex problems. This position requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product management for widely available software or online services.
- Expertise in identity and access management, including federation (SAML, OIDC), SCIM provisioning, OAuth 2.0 flows, and user lifecycle management.
- Ability to make tough decisions informed by both data and judgment.
- Demonstrated record of executing projects that measurably improved customer experiences while reducing risk.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical partners.
Responsibilities
- Build a strategic roadmap and take product concepts from idea through validation, shipping, measurement, and iteration.
- Steer the product ship with guidance and strong partnerships to influence product direction.
- Partner closely with leadership and diverse stakeholders to align on vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
- Build business cases and measure the impact of product innovation.
- Identify new opportunities and collaborate with team members on their identity, authentication, and authorization requirements.
Benefits
- Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
