Job description

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director, Software Engineer to join their entitlement reviews development team in New York, NY. This role focuses on full stack development, integrating entitlement reviews with Sailpoint, and managing operational activities. The successful candidate will work closely with production support to resolve issues and will engage in unit and automation testing. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative technology solutions within a leading global financial services firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience in the position offered or five years as an Associate, Software Engineer, or related occupation.
  • Five years of experience with Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Gradle, Angular, Javascript, Cypress and Protractor frameworks, Agile software development methodology, CI/CD deployment pipeline, Jenkins, and entitlement modeling and design.
  • Three years of experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
  • Two years of experience implementing and integrating SailPoint IdentityNow and programming web development projects related to SailPoint IDN integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a full stack developer for the entitlement reviews development team.
  • Create design for integration of entitlement reviews with Sailpoint.
  • Manage operational activities including technology change management and weekend deployment activities.
  • Provide technical support by collaborating with the production support team to resolve issues.
  • Conduct unit testing and automation testing.
  • Collaborate with the QA team for end-to-end testing of modules.
