Job description
The role is for a seasoned engineer on the Customer Service Platform team at Netflix, focusing on enhancing customer service technology through innovative solutions. The team is responsible for creating a scalable and resilient ecosystem that integrates both in-house and vendor solutions. The engineer will work on building features that meet technical and business objectives while collaborating with various stakeholders. A strong emphasis is placed on operational efficiency and leveraging Generative AI to transform customer service experiences.
Requirements
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as React.
- Solid experience in object-oriented programming in Java, C++, or similar languages.
- Solid experience with API technologies such as GraphQL, gRPC, and REST.
- Solid knowledge of data structures, database schema design, and modern design patterns.
- Extensive experience integrating internal and/or third-party services.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms like Amazon Web Services.
Responsibilities
- Ideate, build, test, and deploy robust features that meet both technical and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Netflix engineering teams, product stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Maintain a platform mindset to handle massive end-user traffic and integrate vendor solutions.
- Transform the technology ecosystem from legacy applications to a modern hybrid architecture.
- Focus on operational efficiency for both agent and customer experiences.
