- Experience coaching and managing high performing teams with a focus on inclusive feedback.
- Comfort with driving technical decisions in a fast-moving environment with competing priorities.
- Previous experience as a hands-on individual contributor with deep technical credibility.
- Demonstrated risk mitigation and data enablement of privacy tooling through measured outcomes.
- System design and full stack development background with the ability to delegate and empower team members.
- Deep understanding of privacy and security frameworks, data classification, and data protection controls.
- Strategic thinking for product strategy roadmaps to improve existing tooling for privacy rights management.
- Experience building tools for consent management and data protection controls across the data lifecycle.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to prioritize privacy initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers to develop and maintain privacy protective features and tools.
- Partner with PDPE leadership to define and execute a consumer-centric approach for data collection and privacy controls.
- Develop strong partnerships across disciplines to create solutions that add value for the organization.
- Drive the development of horizontal privacy solutions and automation of privacy rights management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Data Platform Infrastructure, Data Sciences Engineering, Security, Legal, and Product teams.
- Utilize structured discovery of privacy gaps to inform prioritization and justify investment in privacy remediation programs.
Benefits
- Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
