Job description
The Title and Launch Management (TLM) team at Netflix is focused on innovating technology foundations for the efficient launch and global distribution of entertainment content. The team ensures a seamless experience for launching titles, bridging the title creation lifecycle with consumer experience. Members of the Catalog Foundations & Distribution (CFD) team play a crucial role in delivering content to millions of members, enhancing metadata systems for better performance and safety. This position offers an opportunity to work on high-impact projects that drive business velocity and improve the Netflix experience.
Requirements
- Experience crafting resilient, high-scale, low-latency microservices in production environments.
- Proficiency with gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation using OO programming languages like Java or C#.
- Adept at building enterprise applications with HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS.
- A proven track record of resilient data modeling and translating business requirements to technical requirements.
- Experience participating in on-call rotation and leading incident reviews.
Responsibilities
- Build and innovate technology foundations for the ingest, setup, launch, and distribution of entertainment content.
- Ensure efficient, flexible, accurate, and scalable launching of titles on Netflix.
- Improve the speed and stability of existing metadata systems.
- Enhance safety features to protect against critical risks.
- Collaborate with partners across Netflix to deliver frequent wins for stakeholders.
