Job description
The role is focused on building innovative media planning solutions within Netflix's Ads Platform Engineering team. This team is responsible for developing in-house ad tech systems that optimize media investments across the platform. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and management of media strategies. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and contribute to the growth of Netflix's advertising business.
Requirements
- Experience in building first party tools, APIs, and services that leverage data and real-time insights for media planning workflows.
- Understanding of how media planning workflows interact with other parts of an ads platform.
- Familiarity with RFPs and pre-sales processes through to campaign activation.
- Experience with building modern backend and frontend applications on cloud/AWS using Java, Spring Boot, React, GraphQL, or Node.js.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Responsibilities
- Build applications and APIs that support every stage of the media planning process.
- Deliver transparency on media plan performance and provide actionable insights for optimization.
- Partner with stakeholders across the Ads Platform to develop scalable media planning solutions.
- Ensure compliance and management of media strategies at scale.
- Contribute to building highly performant advertising systems that drive business value.
