Job description
The role at Netflix involves owning the design and delivery of Workday solutions to support critical people and talent decisions. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex business needs into effective Workday configurations. This position requires a strong understanding of Workday functionalities and the ability to lead medium-to-large features from design through deployment. The focus is on driving standards, continuous improvement, and ensuring measurable business impact.
Requirements
- Experience independently owning medium-to-large Workday features or workstreams from design through post-go-live support.
- Demonstrated ability to align solutions to clear business metrics and measure the impact of your work.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring Workday.
- Solid understanding of Workday data structures, reporting, security, and basic integrations.
- Effective collaboration skills with HR, Talent, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solutions for Workday configurations.
- Partner directly with Talent, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business objectives.
- Independently lead medium-to-large features and workstreams from discovery through deployment.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify necessary adaptations to Workday.
- Create and maintain clear solution designs, configuration logs, and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to define mapping, scenarios, and testing for integrations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during implementation and post-go-live.
- Act as a Workday subject-matter expert by setting and evolving design patterns and standards.
- Stay current on Workday releases and proactively propose improvements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, tools, and methodologies.
