Requirements
- Proven experience leading an engineering team building large-scale, consumer-facing products on TV or Web.
- Strong background in client-side software development with solid system thinking and understanding of end-to-end architectures.
- Ability to inspire and lead through change, ambiguity, and rapid innovation cycles.
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing complex projects and delivering results.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams.
- Passion for creating exceptional user experiences and a deep understanding of user interface design principles.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact features and improvements.
- Drive a culture of engineering excellence while balancing product innovation with long-term technical health and maintainability.
- Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables, navigating feature, scope, and timeline tradeoffs.
- Champion the user experience, ensuring that all features and updates enhance the overall experience for members.
- Stay abreast of evolving trends and experiment with GenAI to find transformative ways to work.
