This role at Netflix is for a software engineer focused on creating high-quality front-end experiences while integrating AI and LLM-powered capabilities into enterprise applications. The team is dedicated to building tools for the entire workforce, emphasizing collaboration with engineers, product managers, and designers. Candidates should thrive in a dynamic environment and possess strong problem-solving skills. The position requires a blend of front-end and back-end technology expertise.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer, delivering projects on time and at quality.
- Expert knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and modern design patterns.
- Deep experience with Node, JavaScript, React, SpringBoot, NoSQL, and GraphQL.
- Knowledge of Python and/or Java.
- Demonstrable ability to lead a project and deliver an end product on time and at quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive UX flows for AI-powered features.
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs that power the UI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate generative AI solutions.
- Work cross-functionally to build, test, deploy, and launch UIs.
- Communicate technical ideas and work closely with other senior members of the team.
Benefits
- Employees at Netflix are often offered flexible, people-first benefits—unlimited time away, generous parental leave, global family-forming support, mental-health programs (mindfulness, free counseling/coaching), and health coverage tailored by country. Financially, Netflix pays at personal top-of-market and lets employees choose their mix of cash vs. fully-vested 10-year stock options, alongside donation and volunteer matching. Convenience perks can include trust-based travel/expense policies, relocation support, and “Work, Not Drive” rideshare flexibility.
