The Senior Distributed Systems Engineer at Netflix will be part of the Analysis team in the Experimentation Platform, focusing on building and operating advanced analysis tooling for A/B testing. This role involves ensuring the reliability and performance of critical experiment analysis workflows that impact business decisions. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to shape data and integration surfaces while enhancing the overall experimentation process. • Strong understanding of the experimentation lifecycle and associated risks.
• Experience running or facilitating experiments with significant business implications.
• Depth in backend and distributed systems engineering.
• Proven ability to write high-quality code and manage production services end-to-end.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to drive decisions in ambiguous situations.

• Build and evolve critical experiment analysis tooling.
• Maintain and improve real-time and batch analysis workflows for experiments.
• Own the reliability and performance of analysis systems.
• Participate in on-call duties and lead incident response efforts.
