Job description

The Technical Program Manager will join the Data Protection program at Netflix, focusing on reducing data risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role involves collaborating with the Privacy and Data Protection Engineering team to foster a responsible data culture. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in privacy and data protection to drive the development and adoption of data management capabilities across various platforms. Requirements

  • Passion for privacy and data protection.
  • Familiarity with technical Data Protection or Governance programs.
  • Ability to identify gaps in solutions and debate technical approaches.
  • Experience driving large-scale technical initiatives on shared infrastructure platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with the Privacy and Data Protection Engineering team.
  • Identify, develop, and drive the adoption of data management capabilities.
  • Navigate complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Triage multiple initiatives to prioritize the right problems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align on strategic goals and vision.
