The Director Systems Analyst, Security Master & Pricing Engineering role is a key position within the Security Master & Pricing Engineering leadership team at Fidelity. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product leaders to shape product direction while ensuring that technical needs align with business deliverables. The team focuses on enhancing technology that supports brokerage operations, fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive system and product knowledge to drive predictable and efficient delivery of engineering projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technology discipline.
- 8+ years of proven professional experience as a Systems or Product Analyst for software solutions.
- Experience with modernizing legacy systems to cloud systems, preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proven experience with large datasets, data analysis, and Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Experience with API driven platforms, REST interfaces, and Swagger.
- Familiarity with mainframe ecosystems and understanding of COBOL-based applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with engineering and product leaders to define product direction.
- Engage business stakeholders to ensure clarity in design, capacity, planning, and execution.
- Translate business outcomes and requirements into system design and implementation.
- Balance immediate delivery needs with long-term technical and strategic goals.
