Fidelity Investments is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join the CVT team within Stock Plan Services. This role involves providing critical systems and business support on a global team, focusing on high availability and client satisfaction. The selected candidate will work with a Mainframe and Distributed technology stack, ensuring a top-shelf service experience for clients and internal partners. Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with technology and support organizations is essential.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe platforms.
• Demonstrated support on a critical mainframe environment, using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, MQ-Series, SQL, and VSAM files.
• Experience in mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Experience in navigating in an Oracle database environment for triage purposes.
• Ability to debug and reproduce issues in lower pre-production environments.
• Knowledge of ETL, Informatica, Java, Python, or other distributed languages is preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with monitoring systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog/Splunk, and the ELK stack.
• Knowledge of financial services or equity compensation would be a plus.
