Job description
The Games SDK team at Netflix is responsible for the SDK libraries that game developers use to access the Netflix Games Platform. This role focuses on improving the quality of the SDK product, enhancing the experience for both game developers and Netflix customers. As a member of this team, you will contribute to testing strategies, automation, and debugging efforts. You will also analyze operational data to drive improvements in app quality.
Requirements
- Experience writing automated tests and using them in a continuous integration environment
- Strong programming knowledge and hands-on experience with Objective-C and Swift
- Experience developing or testing third-party SDKs
- Experience with build and test orchestration tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with Unity or Unreal and automated testing of plugins and bindings is a plus
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall quality and testing strategy for the SDK team, focusing on the iOS Games SDK.
- Drive design and implementation of automation tests and necessary tools and infrastructure.
- Debug issues using various tools and identify root causes in collaboration with SDK engineers.
- Manually test new features and integration points that are difficult to automate.
- Contribute to test games and sample code that integrate and utilize the SDK.
- Gather and analyze operational data to gain insights on improving test stability, performance, and developer engagement.
