Job description

The Principal Quant Developer will join Fidelity's Quantitative Research & Investing Technology team, contributing to the development of systematic investment strategies. This role involves collaborating with researchers to deliver high-impact solutions in alpha research, portfolio construction, and risk management. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in technologies such as R, Python, and PL/SQL to build robust and efficient systems. The team focuses on enhancing investment processes through innovative technology solutions.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with six years of experience as a Senior Quant Developer, or a Master's degree with four years of experience as a Lead Quantitative Developer.
  • Experience in building high-quality systems for financial investment decisions using R, Python, and PL/SQL databases.
  • Expertise in Python and full-stack development.
  • Knowledge of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Familiarity with machine learning operationalization on AWS.

Responsibilities
