- 5+ years in portfolio optimization-focused roles, with experience using general purpose or proprietary solvers.
- Demonstrable track record delivering mathematical solutions to portfolio optimization challenges, including Integer Programming.
- Deep understanding of portfolio construction for taxable mandates and efficient heuristics for this problem class.
- Substantial exposure to mathematical techniques specific to portfolio optimization.
- Proven ability to independently take a research question from inception to a positive outcome.
- A consistent record of architecting sophisticated mathematical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Improve numerical stability and efficiency of portfolio optimization algorithms.
- Design and validate heuristics and problem reformulations for taxable portfolios.
- Independently deliver mathematical solutions and guide the implementation team.
- Research novel algorithms to support new capabilities and client needs.
- Collaborate with team members to evolve algorithms for new client portfolios.
Benefits
