The Principal DDI and Automation Network Engineer will oversee the infrastructure involving Infoblox and ISC Bind, focusing on both on-prem and cloud-based systems. This role requires a disciplined approach to IT service management methodologies to effectively support the business community's needs. The DDI Engineering team is part of the Data Center and Network Services, dedicated to global network engineering and support for Fidelity Investments. The position emphasizes automation development to reduce manual efforts and enhance efficiency.

• A minimum of 4-6 years of network and DDI experience.
• Senior level automation experience using Python and Ansible Tower.
• Experience in Infoblox and DNS.
• Ability to mentor and help develop the engineering team in automation.
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledge.
• Experience with Linux and scripting.
• Skilled verbally and with presenting to senior team members on strategic idea innovations.
• Network Certifications are a plus but not required.
• SNOW development experience is a plus.
• Strong desire to learn DDI and become a DDI SME.

• Manage and design Fidelity DDI infrastructure, on-prem and at CSPs.
• Build and deploy new automation solutions and troubleshoot existing automation.
• Resolve complex issues related to DDI environments as part of an on-call rotation.
• Document complex technologies and topologies based on security-based practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting network issues.
• Work closely with all EI divisions to ensure 24x7 availability of Network Services.
• Be a member of the 3rd level engineering critical issue on-call rotation.
• Manage the life cycle for various technologies within the space, including vendor management.
