Job description

The role is for an experienced operations leader within DoorDash Labs, focusing on managing and scaling the Robot Engineering Testing organization. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Own the testing operations organization, managing operators and team leads across multiple levels.
  • Set the strategic vision for testing and deployment, aligning operations with engineering and product roadmaps.
  • Drive day-to-day operational performance, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across environments.
  • Build and scale workflows, processes, and systems to support growing testing complexity and deployment needs.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, setting standards and ensuring consistent adherence across all operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, TPM, and deployment teams to improve system performance and readiness.
  • Leverage QA, data, and reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Develop and mentor team members and leaders, building a high-performing, accountable organization.
  • Represent testing operations in leadership discussions, providing insights and recommendations to guide strategy.
