The Analytics team at DoorDash is seeking experienced Data Scientists and Senior Data Scientists to drive measurement and strategic decision-making across various teams. The role involves uncovering insights from large datasets to influence organizational decisions. Candidates will work on challenges related to customer acquisition, fraud, marketing, and marketplace efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to mentor junior analysts and utilize advanced analytical methods.

• A degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a similar domain.
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a related role.
• Experience with funnel optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, and regression models.
• Expertise in SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis using tools like Matlab, R, SAS, or Python.
• Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools such as Chartio, Looker, or Tableau.

• Use quantitative analysis to understand business drivers beyond the numbers.
• Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other tools.
• Mentor junior analysts on advanced methods and problem-solving techniques.
• Produce recommendations and validate findings using statistical techniques and hypothesis testing.
• Provide insights to help business leaders understand marketplace dynamics and user behaviors.
• Identify and measure levers to influence essential metrics and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering to implement and monitor logging for analytics.
