The Engineering Manager will lead the Drive Growth & New Bets team at DoorDash, overseeing engineering execution across four high-growth lines of business including Pizza, Health, Tasks, and Fleet Management. This hybrid role requires collaboration with Product, Analytics, Business Development, and Operations to scale existing businesses and develop new initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting technical direction and fostering a strong engineering culture. This position is based in the Sunnyvale, CA, San Francisco, CA, or Seattle WA area.

• 2+ years managing full-stack engineering teams of 8 or more engineers.
• 8+ years of total industry experience including hands-on engineering.
• Experience in distributed systems design and platform-scale execution.
• Strong product intuition and comfort partnering on roadmap and strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to operate with ambiguity in new business ventures.

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team across multiple lines of business.
• Set technical direction and architecture for established and new platforms.
• Partner with Product, Business Development, and Operations on roadmap and demand validation.
• Hire, develop, and retain senior engineers while cultivating a strong ownership culture.
