The Engineering Manager, Proactive Security role at DoorDash involves leading the technical direction for Security Product Engineering globally. This position is part of a collaborative team focused on integrating proactive security controls into DoorDash's products for consumers, merchants, and Dashers. The role emphasizes building a resilient delivery network while ensuring security is a top priority. The position is remote within the US or Canada and reports directly to the Director of Security Engineering.

• 12+ years of experience as a Security Product Engineer at an Internet scale organization.
• 3+ years of demonstrated technical leadership in building outcomes at a global scale.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrated technical leadership in Account Security, Product Security Engineering, and AI Security.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex systemic issues.

• Set and execute the technical vision for Security Product Engineering Pods, Bug Bounty, and Vulnerability Management teams.
• Lead the overall direction and roadmap execution for Security Product Engineering and Bug Bounty programs.
• Coach and mentor engineers to understand and address security problems effectively.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to build proactive security controls into DoorDash products.
• Build and maintain high Operational Excellence security services to ensure minimal downtime.
