Job description

The People Systems Platform Engineer at Stripe will focus on owning, scaling, and optimizing the internal Salesforce platform to enhance the employee experience. This role is part of the People Systems Team, which combines technology with human experience to deliver high-quality HR solutions. The engineer will work closely with various teams to ensure the Salesforce platform is well-governed and continuously improving. This position requires a balance between maintaining operations and driving strategic improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Engineer, Platform Specialist, or Advanced Administrator.
  • Deep knowledge of HR Service, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud with proven ability to design and deliver solutions end-to-end.
  • Proficient with Salesforce Flow, data migration tools, and a solid understanding of relational databases.
  • Proven experience handling highly confidential data with strict governance and security controls.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to set clear expectations with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable configurations and customizations within the Salesforce platform.
  • Build robust, maintainable declarative solutions and collaborate with developers on programmatic solutions.
  • Own and optimize data pipelines and API integrations between Salesforce and core People systems.
  • Maintain strict data privacy standards by managing profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.
  • Own the deployment pipeline to ensure smooth, well-tested releases of new HR features.
  • Monitor app health and performance across critical People workflows and triage incidents.
  • Build complex reports, dashboards, and CRM Analytics to help the People team track key metrics.
  • Translate business requirements into a prioritized Salesforce product roadmap and drive initiatives.
