The Forward Deployed Engineer at Privy will be the primary technical owner for building new capabilities with key customers. This role combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of customer needs to develop and deploy software features that enhance Privy's core products. The team emphasizes a high urgency approach to shipping small iterations quickly, while maintaining a strong focus on security and customer satisfaction. Engineers will work closely with product and business teams to ensure that customer feedback is prioritized and addressed.

• 5+ years of professional, hands-on full-stack development experience with languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Python, Go, or Java.
• Excellent ability to communicate and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building and owning features end-to-end.
• Superb problem-solving skills and ability to understand the product and business side of development.
• A passion for handling ambiguity and picking up new technologies, frameworks, and tools.

• Work directly with customers to understand their technical and operational objectives, scope requirements, and propose software solutions.
• Design, code, and launch features that improve and innovate on Privy’s core product using tools like TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Drive product deployments, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Champion customer success by ensuring the team understands and prioritizes customer feedback and pain points.
• Dive deep into customer codebases to understand product usage and uncover opportunities for improvements.
