The Engineering Manager for the Data Transformation team at Stripe will lead a group of engineers focused on building and operating data transformation pipelines for over 400 product teams. This role emphasizes delivering high-quality datasets for critical analytics and workflows, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. The team is currently innovating in areas such as streaming transformation and ergonomic data modeling. The manager will also work closely with various stakeholders to advance the Data Transformation roadmap.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience managing teams that shipped and operated data pipelines and critical distributed system infrastructure.
- A strong customer focus and the ability to establish empathy with other engineers.
- Effective cross-functional communication skills and the ability to make difficult decisions.
- Technical acumen to clarify architectural and strategic decisions with staff engineers.
- Experience in fostering a healthy and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities
