Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- Licensed Resident Engineer
- Substantial years of experience in construction management or resident engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- Fluent in written English
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience with construction scheduling
- Physical ability to move around an active construction site
Responsibilities
- Plan and develop the project while communicating effectively with the project team.
- Serve as the primary project interface with clients, designers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor construction contractor operations for compliance with approved documents.
- Manage and report on project schedule and budget status.
- Lead project meetings with engineers, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site meetings and oversee field activities for testing and inspection.
- Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches and risk management.
- Conduct constructability reviews and prepare reports prior to construction.
- Develop client relationships and engage in business development activities.
- Establish project forecasts, financial reports, and prepare invoices.
