Requirements

  • BS+ in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of related experience with a proven track record as a technical lead for a shipping hardware product.
  • Proven leadership experience in validation through an entire product cycle from bring-up to mass production.
  • Strong system troubleshooting skills covering silicon, board, signal integrity, firmware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Hands-on experience with power validation, including power distribution networks, power regulators, and telemetry.
  • Expertise in high-speed IO functionality and electrical validation, such as PCIe, SerDes, Ethernet, USB, or display.
  • Proficient in low-speed IO functionality and electrical validation, including I2C, SPI, UART, JTAG, and reference clocks.
  • Experience with system functional and stress testing to expose marginality and uncover corner-case failures.
  • Proficiency with lab equipment and scripting, and comfortable in Linux environments.
  • Experience with manufacturing test plans and driving production debug and yield improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product validation from architecture/design phase through to mass production.
  • Lead and mentor design validation engineers and guide related validation teams through the validation cycles.
  • Be the accountable technical owner for validation status, risks, and milestones.
  • Define test plans across the full system based on product design.
  • Guide manufacturing test approaches and contribute to production troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with and lead vendors and partners to complete validation activities.
  • Drive system-level debugging and root cause analysis on complex issues.
  • Influence product design through design review and validation feedback.
  • Build scalable validation automation and lab infrastructure across product lines.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts.
