• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 10+ years of hands-on, consumer electronics product design experience
• Strong mechanical engineering analytical skills and experience selecting materials and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, with NX preferred
• Proficiency in GD&T techniques and creating 2D drawings
• Experience working with external manufacturing vendors
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Creative problem-solving skills with experience in failure analysis
• Masters degree in mechanical engineering or similar field is preferred
• Fluent in Unigraphics NX and statistical software like JMP

• Take direct responsibility for the mechanical design of parts and assemblies within Apple Vision products.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with teams such as Industrial Design and Project Management.
• Oversee the product design cycle from concept development to prototyping and testing.
• Collaborate with vendors to bring designs to life and ensure reliability.
• Conduct tolerance analyses and interpret FEA results.
• Lead teams through the product development cycle from concept to production.
• Design wearable consumer electronics focusing on fit, comfort, and ergonomics.
