Job description
The Video Computer Vision organization at Apple is focused on developing innovative technologies for future products. The AIML Engineer will work on foundation models for generative AI and multimodal systems, integrating various sensor data. This role involves collaboration with experts to address challenges and contribute to impactful features for millions of users.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience building models for multimodal perception systems.
- Experience working with large language models (LLMs) and vision-language models (VLMs).
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
- MS or PhD in computer vision, computer graphics, machine learning, computer science, computer engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in developing, training, and tuning foundation models and multimodal LLMs.
- Experience with generative architectures such as diffusion, reinforcement learning, flow matching, or normalizing flow at scale.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with multi-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with experts in AI, ML, software, and hardware to tackle fundamental challenges.
- Drive data requirements, validation strategies, and key performance indicators.
- Conduct algorithm research and development that serves product needs.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
