The Principal Security Software Engineer will address complex security challenges across Apple's datacenter and public cloud infrastructure. This role involves designing and implementing innovative security solutions while collaborating with various teams to embed security into all engineering processes. The engineer will also mentor others and strengthen security capabilities within the organization. Success in this position requires deep technical expertise and effective collaboration to translate security theory into practical applications.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering.
• Expertise in cloud security, network security, or application security.
• Expert knowledge in threat modeling, vulnerability management, security architecture, and secure coding practices.
• Deep expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong coding or scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, or HIPAA.
• Proven ability to lead security strategy and mentor teams across functions.
• Experience building a secure cloud environment.
