Job description

The Business Analyst role within Citi's FXLM Operations Technology Team focuses on supporting existing projects and contributing to new initiatives in Operations and Regulatory Technology. The team is responsible for designing and developing applications that facilitate seamless settlements, payments, and regulatory reporting for trade events. This position offers exposure to various facets of the FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, and Derivatives businesses. The analyst will work closely with multiple stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 6-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Investment or Global Bank.
  • Understanding of full front to back workflow for at least two asset classes such as FX, FI, MM, or Derivatives.
  • Familiarity with SDLC and Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of FX Options, Bonds, and Rates is a plus.
  • Strong academic record with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to gather and coordinate business requirements.
  • Create high-quality documentation for Business and Functional Requirements.
  • Analyze large data sets and prepare high-level summaries and workflows.
  • Engage with software developers and testers to ensure quality delivery.
  • Assist in project execution through JIRA, providing tracking and status updates.
