Job description

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position focused on establishing and implementing new or revised application systems in collaboration with the Technology team. This role involves contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities. The analyst will utilize their expertise to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position requires a balance of technical skills and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Python experience.
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI models and frameworks such as OpenAI and Hugging Face Transformers.
  • Experience with RESTful API development using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct feasibility studies and provide time and cost estimates for application development.
  • Monitor and control all phases of the development process including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and provide evaluations of business processes.
  • Recommend and develop security measures during post-implementation analysis.
  • Consult with users and other technology groups to recommend advanced programming solutions.
