The role is for a software engineer on the 3P Credit Card Installments team at Amazon, focusing on creating AI-native multi-tier distributed software applications. This team partners with banks to enhance payment experiences for customers through innovative financial offers. The engineer will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing AI Development Lifecycle practices to deliver high-quality software solutions. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
- 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
Responsibilities
- Define, design, and implement AI Native multi-tier distributed software applications.
- Deliver high quality distributed system software using AIDLC lifecycle.
- Estimate support effort, plan implementation of quality features, and rollout system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
- Automate partner integration using AI-DLC and ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.
- Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams in a large organization.
- Provide on-call production support for payment platform applications.
