Job description

The AWS Analytics & Machine Learning team is seeking a software development engineer to help design and build new analytics products for over 1 million customers. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape technology and products in a fast-growing business. The successful candidate will engage with engineers and leaders to influence product vision and technical implementation. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale software applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Own early development for a brand new offering in analytics.
  • Design, build, and scale the front-end stack and back-end APIs and services.
  • Engage and influence engineers and leaders on product vision.
  • Work cross-organizationally to deliver results and lead engineering decisions.
