Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and testing
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable and reliable distributed services for real-time data access and integration across multiple Amazon platforms.
- Implement sophisticated server-side filtering and querying capabilities to ensure efficient and relevant data retrieval.
- Create standardized APIs and data models to enable seamless data sharing and utilization across diverse business units.
- Develop and optimize systems for handling both offline and online data access, including real-time event processing and batch data analysis.
- Implement robust privacy controls and compliance measures to ensure data protection and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with AI and machine learning teams to integrate advanced personalization capabilities into the platform.
- Work on innovative solutions for standardizing product and offering identifiers across different Amazon services.
- Contribute to the development of data feeds and reactor systems for real-time data enrichment and insight generation.
