• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Build services that persist and retrieve customer data in S3
• Design and implement new components and improvements to existing services
• Collaborate with other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in a regular on-call rotation to support S3's availability
• Conduct operational investigations to resolve customer-impacting issues
• Write documentation outlining solutions to complex problems
